Bruce: Can I have your attention please? Friends. Family. What can I say that has not already been said?
When I first met Jason, stealing the tyres from my car, with the hopes of using their bulletproof tech to help protect the people of the Bowery caught in gang crossfires, I saw a tenacious, brave, young man who would do whatever it took to survive and help make his neighbourhood a safer place for all those living there.
I watched him grow. His determination. His courage. His desire to do what was right—even if it meant putting himself in harm's way. You are a real inspiration.
And ... and I could not be prouder, to be standing here with you all today... to celebrate such an inspiring young couple. Who beat the odds —and proved... that not even death could keep them apart. So please, be upstanding for the happy couple. To Jason and Artemis.
